“We are each other’s magnitude and bond.” – Gwendolyn Brooks
Caroline is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and Golden Gate University School of Law. She has a background in litigation, corporate law, and information privacy and left her legal career to assist her son in his educational experience as a twice-exceptional learner.
Having found a place for him to thrive in a school for 2e students, Caroline is enrolling in a graduate program in cognitive diversity in education. Caroline and her husband actively participate in their children’s education from parent-participation cooperatives to public and independent schools, and in enrichment programs for gifted children.
Caroline’s involvement with SENG began in a SENG Model Parent Group. She is a strong advocate for SENG and encourages involvement in SENG conferences, mini-conferences, and SENGinars. She currently serves on the National Board of Directors for SENG (2020-2023), as the Co-President-Elect, together with her fellow board member Alonzo Kelly. Caroline is also a trained SMPG in-person and online facilitator.
